It was one o’clock in the afternoon, and I was sleeping after a very, very  rough night. The alarm went off in my building and i jumped up. Threw on my coat and shorts and grabbed my purse and laptop. Its funny the things you think to bring in sudden situations. I lived on the eighth floor, so I scuffled down and met up with friends outside. It was absolutely freezing outside, and I was wearing literally just my coat and shorts. The rescue people were handing out blankets- I was not the only one under dressed. I felt the worst for the boy who had been in the shower….no shoes, just a towel. We were forced to stay out of the building for i think six hours. One thousand (literally) students were unable to be in their room and I don’t think I’ve ever seen campus so busy with under dressed people. My girls and I had all been together the night before, and none of us were feeling too good. Be ware of the jungle juice my dear youngins.  We spent the whole day trying to find a warm place to sleep and ended up at the library. It was absolutely packed for the first time ever. College, how interesting you are.
